LOOM WEAVING CLASSES / KURSY TKACKIE
The full loom weaving course consists of two levels of preparation:
– Level 1 (Basic, 6 meetings of 4 hours each for a total of 24 hours) takes into consideration the technique of plain weaving (creation of stripes, plaid design, melange, open weaves and other effects and techniques, like tablet weaving and spinning on a spindle)
– Level 2 (Advanced, 12 sessions of 4 hours each for a total of 48 hours) includes the realization of different weave structures, tapestry, pile techniques, doubleweave fabric and others.
The program of the course assumes that participants will also practice at home between one lesson and the other. We therefore give the possibility to borrow one of the school’s looms (a deposit is required, to be refunded upon return of the loom) for the whole duration of the Level 1, and we propose to purchase your own loom for the Level 2 of your training (the price is included in the cost of the class). The materials are included in the price of the course. After each stage of training, the participants receive a certificate of completion.

Całość kursu obejmuje dwa poziomy nauki:
. Poziom 1 (podstawowy, 6 spotkań po 4 godziny) obejmuje technikę tkania na krosnach splotem płóciennym (pasy, kraty, melanż, ażury i inne efekty, także tkanie na tabliczkach i przędzenie na wrzecionie)
. Poziom 2 (zaawansowany, 12 spotkań po 4 godziny) to m.in. użycie splotów, gobelin, techniki dywanowe, tkanina dwuosnowowa i in.
Pragram kursu zakłada, że pomiędzy zajęciami uczestnicy będa również ćwiczyć w domu, dlatego też na kursie podstawowym proponujemy wypożyczenie szkolnych krosien (za kaucja zwrotną), a na kursie zaawansowanym zakup własnych krosien (w cenie kursu). Materiały w cenie kursu. Po każdym poziomie szkolenia uczestnicy otrzymują świadectwo ukończenia danego kursu.
