What if…? we made long earrings, that could hand loosely or be tied into a knot? Their main part would be fabric and the used metal – silver.
These multicolored earrings were crafted using a small cut of fabric which was woven in the tapestry technique on a small frame. The yarn used to create the zigzag pattern is pure cotton (Alize) in different shades of green, yellow and blue.  The fabric was layered with fusible interfacing, cut into rectangles and sewn into the two slender cylindric shapes that constitute the main body of the earrings.   A goldsmithing stage followed: fitting frames and semispherical finals were fabricated out of silver, all the parts were soldered, and the ear wires were fastened. As a final step, we stuck the fabric cylinders inside, and done!  These are long earrings: including the ear wire, they measure 12 cm. You can therefore let them (probably) dangle on your shoulders, or tie them nicely in a knot.
The earrings in this color version were crafted in a sole copy, meant to be a unique piece. Handwash in gentle detergents at low temperature (up to 40 degrees Celsius). Designed and crafted by: Alina Tyro-Niezgoda.

A gdyby tak…? wykonać długie kolczyki, które mogłyby zwisać luźno lub być wiązane w rodzaj supełka? Zasadniczą część takich kolczyków powinna stanowić tkanina, a użytym metalem – srebro.
Te wielokolorowe kolczyki powstały z niewielkiego fragmentu tkaniny wykonanej techniką gobelinu na małej ramie. Do stworzenia kolorowych zygzaków posłużyły bawełniane włóczki firmy Alize w odcieniach zieleni, żółci i niebieskich. Wycięte z tkaniny prostokąty zostały podklejone i zszyte w formie ruloników, które utworzyły zasadniczą część kolczyków. Złotniczy etap pracy polegał na wykonaniu obręczy i półkulek ze srebra, zlutowaniu ich ze sobą oraz zamontowaniu ukształtowanych w ciekawy sposób bigli. W tak wykonane zakończenia wkleiłyśmy ruloniki z tkaniny.
Kolczyki są długie, razem z biglami mierzą 12 cm, w założeniu będą więc opierać się o ramiona lub też mogą być wiązane w supeł. Kolczyki w tej wersji kolorystycznej powstały w jednym, niepowtarzalnym egzemplarzu. Pranie ręczne w delikatnych środkach piorących, w temperaturze do 40 st.C.
